Put On the Pink In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Although we should be aware year round, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. It is the most common type of cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death. We’ve all been affected in one way or another, or might know somebody who has. To be aware is the best style to have.

Nearly 1 in every 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer over the course of their lifetime, but when detected early, the disease has a high recovery rate. That is why promoting awareness to women through early detection is essential in the fight against breast cancer. While researchers work tirelessly to find new ways to fight this and other diseases, a cure has not been found. Early detection is the best protection we have against breast and other women’s related cancers.

Put on the pink! Proceeds from the Stella & Dot Breast Cancer Awareness Collection will benefit the Noreen Fraser Foundation. A non-profit organization with a mission to raise funds for women’s cancer research and awareness of the importance of early detection. The collection boasts a vibrant assortment of accessories including rose gold bracelets, a zip wallet, wristlet and scarf.
